About this Death Cafe

I believe that having an awareness of death, can lead us to live our lives with greater intention.

Talking about it, particularly our wishes, will help to ensure we have the care we want at the end of life, the death and the funeral we would like to have. It is an important gift to friends and family who will hopefully find the decision making aspect of this, a good deal more simple at such a difficult time.

I am a smiley, happy individual, with a passion for life and human beings. I am an End of Life Doula Association, Doula in training.

I live in Portishead, I moved from Bristol 8 years ago and really appreciate the lovely community here. 

I work for the NHS in Bristol Royal Infirmary as an Anaesthetic Practitioner in Cardiac Theatres.
