About this Death Cafe

Look forward to welcoming you to Southbourne's first death cafe.  It may sound like a strange evening, but talking about death, is not to be feared, it can be funny it can be sad, the evening is only limited by your curiosity, emotions and questions.  We can discuss grief, your wake, perhaps medical questions.  Its not a self help group or bereavement group.  We just get together drink coffee or tea accompanied by some delicous cake.

Please RSVP as limited to 20 people, if you could let me know if you can't attend and I can give the place to someone else.

Michelle McCann - a funeral celebrant and local resident to Southbourne, enjoy meeting people and feel we should not be afraid to speak about death.

Paul Buckley - works in a funeral home, death is an every day occurence for me, it will be interesting to chat with people outside of a funeral environment who may find it difficult to talk about death, and with people who have differing views and opinions.
