About this Death Cafe
The seventh Kendal Death Cafe will take place at the Warehouse Brewery Arts Centre. We would like to extend a warm invitation to anyone who wishes to join a conversation about death and dying in an open, non-directed, non-judgemental format. It is a discussion group rather than grief-support or therapy.
We look forward to meeting you on Wednesday 21st November. Beverages, cakes and savouries will be available to purchase .
Small donations to cover the cost of hiring the venue will be much appreciated.
Our grateful thanks to the Brewery Arts Centre for the continued generous support of this event.
On this occasion we will be joined by Solveiga Zibaite who is a PhD student at Glasgow University. She is writing a thesis on ,
’Death Cafe conversations: an exploration of content and form’.
She will be joining a pre-selected group of regular participants. We anticipate that the occasion will take place quite naturally and that the presence of this research group will be unobtrusive for the general meeting.
