About this Death Cafe
Come and join us for open, lively, respectful and friendly conversations about death, dying and the end of life all over a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
The compassionate Communities project in Erewash is hosting this death café to help end the taboo and fear surrounding death and dying. Providing a relaxed approach that encourages discussion about shared life experiences, ideas, expectations and what is important to us.
About Compassionate Communities Derbyshire
Compassionate Communities Derbyshire aims to encourage people and communities to talk about death, dying, bereavement and loss, to enable people to share their preferences and wishes about the future and to support each other in practical and emotional ways.
The Death Cafe will be facilitated by Julie Mehigan who is leading the Compassionate Communities project.
