About this Death Cafe
This Death cafe is being run by Dr Ellen Pilsworth on behalf of the Institue of Modern Languages Research. It will be the final part of an academic workshop bringing together scholars who work on Death and Dying in the long-eighteenth century, in art, literature, and memorial culture.
Though many of us at this Death Cafe will be academics, our goal is to talk more freely and personally about death - not only about why it motivates our studies.
If you are interested in talking about death in an open, non-judgemental way, you are very welcome to join this discussion, whatever your experience, background, or beliefs. It would be great if you could send me a short message if you would like to come, so that I have an idea of numbers.
Please arrive at 5.45 so that there is time for eceryone to get food and drink before the discussion begins at 6pm.
