About this Death Cafe
We believe in Jon Underwood’s vision for Death Café’s and are delighted to be able facilitate his vision in North Hampshire. We alternate between Petersfield and Alton to try and reach a wider audience.
We tend to facilitate a group but if the number of attendees rise, we may end up creating some smaller groups.
It is not a bereavement or support group, it is very much your evening and opportunity to ask or simply to listen or to contribute to the conversation around death and dying. Experience tells us that time flies by due to the shared experiences.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you.

Diana is a hospice palliative care nurse in the community.
Wendelien is a counsellor & supervisor specialised in palliative and bereavement counselling.
We met while doing the Soul Midwife training with Felicity Warner School of Soul Midwives. We are both passionate about opening up a wider conversation on death and dying and striving to improve on end of life care in any way we can.
