About this Death Cafe
A Death Cafe is a wonderful way to explore your understanding and curiosity about death with others who want to do the same thing. This one is being held in the centre of Carlise in a fabulous warm, friendly and eclectic coffee shop attached to Bookends Book Shop opposite Carlisle Cathedral.
The chat is free & wont kill you and you will can be open in a safe space with of course wonderful cake available! There will be a warm welcome, open minds and good company. What's not to like.
"Things go better with cake."
Life is an amazing valuable thing - it's ours each day we wake up. But it's not guaranteed. I have seen its vaguaries and both of its gentle and unkind faces in my own work and personal life.
I used to have night terrors as a child thinking about death but my life experiences have taught me that it is all about living the best life we can, every single day. For me that means making sure I have planned for my death too.
Not just a wonderful ceremony with great music and champagne and cake but also I have finally made peace with it. I hope you can come. Call me to book one of the limited seats at this very special table.
