About this Death Cafe

We both feel passionate about bringing the conversation about death and dying into everyday normal life.  Death Cafe is a wonderful way to explore thoughts and feelings about the subject, our own experiences with it and also to learn from others with different ideas and experiences.  I would say though, it is not a bereavement group, or possibly not suitable for those who are newly bereaved, I am afraid.  You will meet new people, have fascinating conversations, eat delicious cake and there is often a lot of laughter too, so come and see what you think!  We are a welcoming, warm group of people.

About Katrina Taee and Jane Flynn

Katrina is an End of Life Doula, a supporter or companion who walks alongside people living with life-limiting illness, their families and those who are important to them.  As a counsellor in the past she has specialised in death, dying and end of life issues as well as grief and bereavement. Jane is training to be a bio-dynamic sacro-cranial therapist and is also trained as a Soul Midwife (similar work to an EOL Doula), as well as a healer and running a property development company (yes she is very busy!)  Importantly they are great friends!
