About this Death Cafe
We want people to come together to share stories and thoughts on death and dying in a friendly supportive atmosphere.
St. Anne's & St. Edmund's Parish has kindly offered to host this event.
About Theresa Whitely, Jane Loney and Andrew Twiddy of St Anne & St Edmund Parish
Theresa Whitely is a graduate of the Contemplative End of Life Care program with the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto. Theresa is also the founder of Oceanside Yoga Centre in Qualicum Beach and has been teaching yoga since 1999. She has also studied conflict resolution and counselling at Vancouver Island University.
Jane Loney is a graduate of the Contemplative End of Life Care course and has been a Shiatsu Therapist (Japanese massage modality) for over 25 years. A yoga teacher for 20 years, Jane has taught classes for people of all ages and abilities.
Theresa and Jane are co-founders of Vancouver Island Thanadoulas.
