About this Death Cafe
Following on from our much talked about death cafes in 2013, OxBEL and Claire Turnham are planning a series of death cafes in Oxfordshire this year. Our first one is to be held in Eynsham and we hope you can join us for lovely cake and lively conversation.

OxBEL offers friendship to people living with a life-limiting illness. We also provide support for their carers and loved ones.
Our fully trained volunteer befrienders are supported by a skilled, experienced and professional team of coordinators. This is a free service.
Dealing with a life- limiting illness and supporting a loved one who is very ill can be among the greatest challenges we face.

I have tenderly supported my own family before, during, and after the death of loved ones in both expected and sudden circumstances.
I am now empowering other families to care for their own at death by creating awareness of home based, family led funerals.
