About this Death Cafe
This Death Cafe Discussion will be like an open forum except the primary topic of discussion will revolve around death. There is no agenda or themes to be carried out. The goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment where people can talk about a subject that many think to be a taboo topic. This is not a grief support or counseling session. The expected outcome is that those who attend will have free opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings about death - a most certain reality for all.
About David Small
The host and facilitator is a retired Registered Nurse who holds a Ph.D. in Psychology. He has worked in Hospice and started a Hospice training program in Ecuador. He is bi-lingual in English and Spanish. He has conducted various types of discussion groups over the years and enjoys facilitating small groups.
