About this Death Cafe
Talkng about death is not too scary once you give a death cafe a try. Meeting people who are willing to listen or talk can be very freeing and helpful.
The location is in the basement of the library and very near a fabulous children's area if you have children with you and don't want them to attend the cafe. Attended children are always welcome at death cafe.
Come as you are!
There is no cost to attend. People are encouraged to support the work of Jon Underwood directly.
About Sherry Gilles and Raymond T. Anderson
Sherry has been hosting death cafes since early 2012. She is a retired RN, a Death Midwife and blind.
Besides facilitating death cafes she volunteers in helping others see what accommodations are needed for blind and mobility impaired among other things.
Raymond is a musicologist and has been interested in helping make the conversations happen as well.
