About this Death Cafe
We want to open up the subject of death and dying and life to people who are interested to engage in lively conversation. We will spend the first 15 minutes getting delicious cake and tea and then settle down for two hours of interesting conversation. We are there to facilitate the event but it is over to all the participants to talk about their views and ideas. It is our first event so no doubt, we will all be a bit nervous to start but hopefully the subject will carry us along for two hours of lively chat.
About Katrina Taee and Jane Flynn
Katrina has a nursing background, is a counsellor specialising in working with the dying and the bereaved. Jane is an accupuncturist and a healer/energy worker. We are both Soul Midwives, who are holistic and spiritual companions to the dying. We use traditional skills to ease the passage of those who are dying to ensure their death is as dignified and as peaceful as possible. We are also great friends!
