About this Death Cafe

Death Cafe Chicago is part of an international movement providing a comfortable platform to freely discuss death over coffee, tea, and cake. We are strangers who meet quarterly to explore different perspectives in understanding death and all her dances.

Join us on our 2nd celebration of life's transient nature on Sunday, October 22nd at 7.30pm. Discussion will take place in the back room of O'Shaugnessy's Public House in Ravenswood. Cake will provided.

* IMPORTANT: Only hit 'Going' on Facebook event page if you are certainly attending. Alternatively you can PM/email us if you feel more comfortable. This helps us with seating arrangements and cake size :)

* This Cafe event will consist of a few 'small groups' of discussion tables. As is the style of the cafe, expect to utilize this safe space and be open about the topic with strangers. We're here for each other.

*Please note that O'Shaugnessy's Public House has donated their space to us for the event. We encourage the participants to support their business by purchasing their excellent food and beverages.
