About this Death Cafe
The Cafe is free of ideology, free of cost (although a donation is always welcome to cover cost of rental space and refreshments) and free of any pressure to adopt a particular viewpoint with regard to death and dying.
Conversations are free-flowing and mutually respectful of each other's views, beliefs, and experiences. Open to adults 18 yrs and older.
Not a bereavement group, a counseling or grief therapy group, the Cafe offers good conversation in a comfortable setting with delicious desserts and beverages.
Although free, all who wish to attend must RSVP by phone or email to Elaine in order to provide sufficient seating and food. Notices are sent one week prior to the Cafe to a growing mailing list.
