About this Death Cafe

This is as authentic as you can get. No agenda, no ideology. You share what's on your mind related to death & dying. This is a discussion group, not a grief group or educational session. Guests over 18 please. Free. Five years ago we hosted the first Death Cafe in the United States right here in Westerville. Now the phenomenon has spread worldwide to 50 countries.

About Lizzy Miles and Linda Manley

Lizzy is a passionate advocate for end of life issues and has presented her research at national and international conferences. Five years ago, Lizzy hosted the first Death Cafe event in the United States right here in Westerville. Lizzy's work with the Death Cafe movement has been featured in numerous national newspaper and radio stories.

This Death Cafe will be cohosted by Linda Manley. Linda is a nurse practitioner with 35 years of emergency and flight nursing and a background in near-death experience research. What she learned has fundamentally altered her viewpoint on death and reinforces the importance of having open, honest discussions.
