Did you know Albuquerque was the first city west of the Mississippi where a Death Cafe was held? This Death Cafe will take place in Gail Rubin's home. RSVP to get the address and directions. Lola, the Albuquerque Death Cafe mascot will be in residence!

 

About Gail Rubin, CT

Gail Rubin, Certified Thanatologist, is the author of three upbeat books on end-of-life issues. She uses humor and funny film clips to break down resistance to talking about serious subjects like death and funeral planning. Gail was the first person in the U.S. west of the Mississippi to hold a Death Cafe in September of 2012. Her motto is, "Talking about sex won't make you pregnant, and talking about funerals and end-of-life won't make you dead. Come and join the conversation!"
