About this Death Cafe

Caroline Dent and Zaidee O'Dell have both trained as End of Life Doulas (a new and emerging role, providing compassionate presence and practical support for people with life limiting conditions. They both volunteer as Marie Curie Helpers.

Caroline comes from a creative background, and currently creates Memorial / Remembrance jewellery from personal mementos. She also works with people with dementias, an area of care, she feels passionately about. She volunteered for 4 years with Maytree (a sanctuary for suicidal people in North London) and also with Islington Bereavement Service.  

Caroline was involved with 
Death Cafe Hampstead, the first regular Death Cafe in the UK,  since 2013. In September 2015 Caroline decided to set up a Death Cafe in Finsbury Park. 

 


About London End of Life doulas

Caroline Dent and  Zaidee O'Dell have both trained as End of Life Doulas (a new and emerging role, providing compassionate presence and practical support for people at the end of life. They both volunteer as Marie Curie helpers.

She also works part -time as a dementia carer, something she feels passionately about, and has also  volunteered for 3 years with Maytree (a sanctuary for suicidal people in North London) and also with Islington Bereavement Service.
