About this Death Cafe
Due to the success of our last Death Café, we have decided to run our next one in the charming No. 8 – Main Street Coffee café, Woolton.
We are very excited about our second event and are proud to be hosting it in such a welcoming and unique venue. It will be a comfortable place where we can have open and honest conversation about death.
This event is completely free with complimentary sandwiches, cake, tea and interesting conversation!
About The Bucket Project
The Bucket Project is a community engagement project hosted by the Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool, which aims to open up conversations about death, dying and loss. The project began in 2011 and regularly hosts engaging events attempting to break down the taboo of discussing death.
The project consists of charities, support services, businesses, community groups and individuals across Liverpool, who are committed to working together to help people talk about death in a healthy yet sensitive way.
We also aim to raise awareness of local services so people are able to make informed decisions regarding their end of life care and funeral decisions.
