About this Death Cafe

CFD Death Café is a gathering of people, often strangers, where we eat cake, drink tea or coffee, and confidentially have conversations that break the taboo of talking about dying and death. People leave feeling “connected,” “uplifted,” “fulfilled,” “thankful,” and “informed.” Before the DC there will be a presentation on "Homes for the Dying", which is a Home where one can spend their last months surrounded by a circle of support which also embraces his/her friends and family. As CFD transitions into the development phase of Circle Home in Kingston, we offer the opportunity to provide information about Ulster County’s first "Home for the Dying", and how Circle Home will work in the community. The CFD Death Cafe will follow the presentation.
