Death Café of Sarasota

Venue & Date: Our next meeting is May 20th, 1:30pm-3pm at the Sarasota Center of Light (SCOL), 852 South Tuttle Ave. Sarasota, FL 34237. SCOL is located at the NW corner of Tuttle and Browning. We will be meeting in the Education Building,which is directly across Browning from the church. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. You will be notified of changes as soon as we are sure of them, so please make sure we have your email and/or phone number.

About: At a Death Café people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death and related issues. It is always a great conversation. A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, and no objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their lives.' Our local 'Death Café of Sarasota' can be found on FaceBook and the main website for Death Café on the web at http://deathcafe.com/ for further information.

Donations: All serious persons are welcome. We do ask for a suggested donation of $5 to help defray costs of refreshments and venue.
