About this Death Cafe
Following on from hugely successful & enjoyable Death Cafés in Cork, Dublin & Galway Death Café now comes to Clonakilty - ALL over 18 are welcome, whether you've been to a Death Café before or not, irrespective of religious or spiritual belief or practice.
The format is simple & yet open to possibility for great discussion.
We begin at 8pm with introductions, to your facilitators, Beth Wallace & Norma McGelligott, & the Death Café concept & philosophy. We follow this by introductions to each other - you can say as much or as little as you wish here.
Then we move into the discussion part of the evening - the topics are entirely up to those who attend.
We end the Café at at 10pm with opportunity for everyone, both verbally & through written anonymous evaluation forms, to share how the event has been for them. Again you are completely free to say as much or as little as you wish.
HUGE gratitude to Molly's Cafe & O'Donovan's Hotel for their genorosity in gifing Death Cafe the space at no charge.
