About this Death Cafe
I really enjoy running Death Cafés as they give us an opportunity to reconnect with the fact that death will come to us all. Death is the one experience that all of us alive will share, regardless of any other differences, we will all experience the death of others & our own demise, and yet it has become a taboo in our society in recent years.
I'm looking forward to holding my first Dublin Café at the lovely First Draft Coffee at Ger the owner's request. It's an important event for Ger, one he's very much looking forward to, as his fiancée & business partner, Rashel, died very young in April 2015.
This Café will be similar to other Cafés, there will be opportunity to talk about what we think & feel about death, about dying, about what it means to us, and of course to enjoy FIRST CLASS coffee & cake!
The Café is facilitated but not led by me, it's led by those who come to it and you will have the opportunity to share & explore in a variety of ways.
Please come on time & we very much look forward to seeing you there!
