About this Death Cafe
We are happy to provide a safe and pleasant place for people in and around our comminity to share conversations about death, dying and related views or beliefs. We have rented the Lexington Depot, a lovely, historic bulding that seats up to 100 people. During the 90-minute event, we'll organize attendees into groups of 6-8, leaving time for sharing in the large group toward the end of the evening.
- Local bakers at "Cake" are donating cake
- Local "Peet's" shop is providing coffee
- Tea also available.
Please call 781-538-5586 by Oct 28 to RSVP and join us for Lexington's first Death Cafe! There are no right answers. Only questions. And coffee/tea and cake.
About Mary Ann Christie Burnside & Sairey Leone Luterman
Mary Ann Christie Burnside is a contemplative educator, spiritual director and hospice volunteer who works in and around her community. Sairey Leone Luterman is a certified Thanotologist and grief counselor, also in Lexington, MA. Both are accomplished professionals who are passionate about attending to life and to others with awareness, compassion and care.
