This Death Cafe' is being hosted by the San Diego First Unitatrian Universalist Church - South Bay campus. Their Hillcrest location has been sponsoring Death Cafe' for some time. They are excited to bring the Cafe' to the south county.
About Caroline Boaz & Maggie Pound
Caroline has been hosting Death Cafe' in the north part of San Diego and is now hosting in the south county. Her professional background is in the field of hospice and palliative care. She brings a passion for open communication and heartfelt sharing about topics that are common to all of us.
Maggie has had a long career in health care administration. She is a social activist and believes that we all need to be prepared for end of life. We can do this through heartfelt conversations such as those you will experience at a Death Cafe'.
