About this Death Cafe
We are setting up our gathering in Cameron Park immediately after the Saturday Farmer's Market. We will have sweets from the farmer's market and or The Peoples Food Coop across the street.
Bring chairs or a blanket to sit on.
About Jackie l Yaeger
Host: Jackie Yaeger, MD is a palliative care physician and Hospice Medical Director for Gundersen Healthcare. She is a graduate of the Metta Institute Program "Mindfulness for End of Life Practitiioners" and is certified as a "Sacred Passage Doula" by The Conscious Dying Institute.
Facilitator:Sharon Lukert is a staff chaplain at Gundersen Health System. She has been a practicing Buddhist within a Tibetan lineage for more than 20 years and has studied under Pema Chödrön. Sharon is also a meditation instructor and has facilitated workshops and study groups focused on Buddhism, meditation, death and dying education, and bereavement support.
