About this Death Cafe
The popular movement to take back death from the sanitized and clinical perspective and make it personal and meaningful has taken hold. Many of us need a safe space to talk about death - in order to life a fuller (albeit finite) life. Whether you are curious about end of life issues, or need help opening a conversation with your family, or wonder about an afterlife, Death Cafe is a safe space to enter into that conversation.
About Dana Bogatz
Dana started the first Death Cafe in Connecticut and it is so popular she has started two more locations. She is a Rabbi with 17 years of pulpit and chaplaincy experience. She has been with many families as a loved one dies, and finds great beauty and peace when the family members have had open conversations about death and dying. Death Cafe is a safe space to enter into that conversation.
