Death Cafe provides an open, respectful and friendly atmosphere where people can express their views about death, dying and life. Within a warm, caring, and loving environment lets all share thoughts, make friends, and create a comfortable environment to discuss death for a fuller life. Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. Death Cafe is now an established international 'social franchise' that has spread quickly across the globe.
