About this Death Cafe

This Death Cafe is loosely facilitated to allow for maximum participation of those who wish to share.  Merilynne's desire to host death cafe grew out of her  experience leading group discussions during home funeral and green burial presentations to the public.  This Death Cafe meets monthly.  It is not necessary to RSVP or "make a booking."

Diana Cramer is a home funeral guide who trained with Jerrigrace Lyons and often facilitates Death Cafe when Merilynne is not available.

Previously, Merilynne was a home birth midwife and hospice nurse.  She has 25 years experience working with families in transition.  She is an excellent facilitator and presenter.  Check out this recent article in HOUR Detroit.
