About this Death Cafe
This will be the second death cafe we have hosted in Nailsworth. The first went really well with about 24 attendees. Again, we aim to keep the evening as informal and relaxed as possible, for people to share as little or as much as they feel comfortable with about their thoughts and experiences around death and dying. Continuing thanks to Caroline and Greg from The Canteen for letting us use their venue.
About Jane Diamond and Tracey Clements
Jane: I trained as a Body Psychotherapist from 2002-2007. I am really interested in death and dying and am developing my work in this area. I love the idea of people being able to talk about this subject freely and openly – it’s coming to us all!
Tracey: In 2001-2002 I trained as a bereavement counsellor. I have long been interested in our cultural responses to death and how we can ease the burden of grief for those who are bereft or dying. I am currently exploring ministry with the Anglican Church with a special interest in death and dying.
