About this Death Cafe

We are dedicated to doing all we can to create a friendly non-directive venue so people feel free to come and bring their interest, curiosity, concerns, experiences, and so on regarding the subject of death and dying.

We are grateful to the Hearts for Hospice Resale Shop for providing this space for us which is located in Springfield just across the river from Eugene.

Hearts for Hospice is an independent foundation established to raise funds for a variety of end of life care programs that benefit individuals and their families in the community.

We are a small group of long-time hospice volunteers who are interested in normalizing the conversation about death, dying and end of life concerns.
