An Online Death Cafe
About this Death Cafe
We invite you to join us for the upcoming Death Café Iowa meeting on Zoom! This is the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30pm CST.
At a Death Café, people “eat cake and discuss death”. The aim is to “increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives”. During the Death Café, people come together in this relaxed setting to discuss death, celebrate life and enjoy the lively discussion.
This month's death cafe will be facilitated by death doula Jennifer Leatherby.
This is not a support group or educational seminar - just a chance to talk about death in an effort to enhance life. If you are in need of grief support, please reach out to the Academy.
