About this Death Cafe

This is an informal gathering for friendly discussion on the subject death, a difficult subject for an over lunch discussion - in this atmosphere with cake and beverage it is much easier to talk about in a friendly atmosphere set in an art gallery surrounded by paintings. 

Join us in a shared Sacred Alter Building this month as we offer to allow patrons to bring photos, flowers, & memorabilia of your loved ones who have passed on to share in our community, care, and conversations. 

About Paula Acree, Doug Rice,

Paula has been a grief counselor for decades and facilitates groups for churches. She has also written and published a grief workbook this year. Doug is a retired nurse who has turned his skills to be a death doula.
