About this Death Cafe
We hold Charlotte Death Cafes the THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH.

Each Cafe gathering is very different in terms of the topics discussed and who shows up. We always say we should call it a Life Cafe! This is a neutral space in which to talk, explore. All perspectives are welcomed. Think "socratic dialogue about death/life"
About Lyndall Hare
Lyndall Hare, PhD Gerontologist, has been facilitating Charlotte's Death Cafes since November 2013. She has worked in the field of aging for almost 30 years and is also a social worker. Originally from South Africa, she has seen the blessings and the tragedies of death, and what happens in a society (and personally) when death is not spoken about.
