About this Death Cafe
This online Death Cafe creates a space for people in Sheffield to come together and talk openly about Death, a topic often surrounded by stigma and taboo. There is no agenda and the conversation is completely group led, without judgement or any specific goals, and can include conversation around death including the end of life and bereavement.
It will offer a conversational space, where the discussions are led by the people present, with no agenda or direction. Conversation might flow in many different ways, with diverse topics. It provides a space where both laughter and tears are equally welcome, in a virtual room full of people who are empathetic and understanding. No two Death Cafes are ever the same, they are each as unique as the people that attend them.
About Compassionate Sheffield
This session will be delivered by Cally Bowman (She/Her) from the Compassionate Sheffield team. Cally is a Community Development Worker who enjoys creating spaces where people feel safe to talk about grief and loss.
