About this Death Cafe

Coversations around death are so important.  Discusssions around all things relating to death are support you so that you can make choices for yourself before there is a crisis.  Our deathc cafes are casual gatherings where people share their experiences, ask questions and share ideas for more support. Many people have spoken of relief from seeing others sharing similar experiences.  Occasionally there are tears, often there is laughter.

About Karen Joy Seunarine

Karen Joy Seunarine is a registered massage therapist for 35 years.  During this time she has often worked with the elderly including many palliative care clients.  This interest in working with clients at end of life propelled her to become certified in becoming a death doula.  Joy loves nature walks, reading and writing poetry, family  and good food.
