About this Death Cafe
Come join us at the Shelton McMurphy-Johnson House on Monday, September 21st for a lively discussion about death and dying. Nicknamed "The Castle On the Hill," the SMJ House is a historic landmark that provides a beautiful and intimate atmosphere for us to have our discussion.
Death Cafe is NOT a grief support or therapy group. Our main goal is to help people become more comfortale with the concepts of death and dying through sharing personal stories and experiences.
With that being said, we also know that topics surrounding death and dying are touchy for most people, and we want to do our absolute best to make everyone feel welcome without shying away from the topics at hand.
Refreshments (tea, cookies) will be provided. This event is open to everyone 18 years or older.
Pleaee note: Entry closes at 6:35 PM - NO EXCEPTIONS.
