About Lizzie Cooper

Lizzie has been a death and grief worker her whole life. In 2022 after her father passed, she discovered HHA. She is trained and certified as a Death Doula & Death Cafe Facilitator through the Home Hospice Association and Blackbird Medicines as an Indigenous Death worker. She works in Central Alberta - and everywhere (virtually!). She started her private practice, Gentlend.ca in 2022. Lizzie knows first hand grief and loss and believes in equitable access to a good death. She is committed to supporting better care for the dying community and their families.
