About this Death Cafe
Come join us at the Shelton McMurphy-Johnson House in Eugene, Oregon for a lively discussion about death and dying! The SMJ House is a historic landmark that provides a calm, peaceful environment for us to have our discussions.
Please note that Death Cafe is not a grief support group. The sole mission of Death Cafe is to provide a safe space for people to talk openly about their experiences, share stories, etc.
Refreshments (tea, cookies) will be provided.
This event is open to anyone 18 years or older. Entry closes at 6:35 PM - NO EXCEPTIONS.
About Conner Harrington and Lynda Sorensen
Conner Harrington is a trained Death Cafe facilitator, hospice volunteer, and death educator who has been working in the space for the last three years. His goal is to help people of all walks of life have intelligent, meaningful, and fulfilling conversations about death and dying.
Lynda Sorensen is a trained Death Cafe facilitato, hospice volunteer, death doula, and caregiver who also participates in death education. Her warm heart and compassionate spirit enable her to be present to people who are in the final season of their life. She believes that nobody should have to die alone.
