Quarterly Death Cafe held at Cornerstone Cafe 21 Rainsford Rd, Chelmsford CM1 2XL- upcoming dates for there are October 1st and in 2027 January 7th. All 1-3pm

I came to Death Cafe through my own experiences of death and dying — both in my personal life and in my work as an Occupational Therapist and Coach, supporting people living with life-changing and life-limiting diagnoses.

Over the years, I’ve noticed how often we avoid talking about death and dying. Yet that silence doesn’t really help any of us — not those who are dying, not those who are grieving, and not those of us simply trying to live well while we can. I began facilitating Death Cafes as a way of gently opening up these important conversations in a safe, welcoming space.

I’ve been hosting Death Cafes for many years now, and no two are ever the same. What I love most is meeting new people and sharing in conversations that are thoughtful, honest, moving — and often surprisingly uplifting.

I look forward to welcoming you.
