Chelmsford Death Cafe dates

 

Monthly Death Cafes on the last Friday of each month, 12.15 to 1.15pm held at the Art Place High Chelmer, London Rd Chelmsford opposite the bus stops and the back of Waterstones NB do not use the Postcode as this takes you to a carpark behind the building!

 

Also Quarterly Death Cafe held at Cornerstone Cafe 21 Rainsford Rd, Chelmsford- upcoming dates for there are October 1st and in 2027 January 7th. All 1-3pm

About Jane Iskander and The Art Place Chelmsford

I came to Death Cafe through my own experiences of death and dying — both in my personal life and in my work as an Occupational Therapist and Coach, supporting people living with life-changing and life-limiting diagnoses.

Over the years, I’ve noticed how often we (people) avoid talking about death and dying. Yet that silence doesn’t really help any of us — not those who are dying, not those who are grieving and not those of us simply trying to live well while we can.

I began facilitating Death Cafes as a way of gently opening up these important conversations in a safe, welcoming space.

I’ve been hosting Death Cafes for many years now and no two are ever the same.

What I love most is meeting new people and sharing in conversations that are thoughtful, honest, moving — and often surprisingly uplifting.

I look forward to welcoming you.
