About this Death Cafe
I feel it is important to have spaces to freely express ourselves about death and dying and to openly express our grief in a world that stigmatizes talking about our losses, death, dying, and grieving openly.
About June X July
June is a Philly based End of Life Doula and Animal Caretaker who is passionate about companionship at end of life for humans and animals. She has long been both repelled and fascinated by death and lived most of life in fear of dying. After many significant losses, her fears started to recede and curiosity came forward. Grief was both transformational and a constant companion.
