About this Death Cafe
Come join us at the Shelton McMurphy-Johnson House on Monday, August 3rd for a lively discussion about death and dying! Nicknamed "The Castle on the Hill," the SMJ House is a historic landmark that provides a calm, relaxing environment where everyone feels at-home. Refreshments (tea, cookies) will be provided.
Please note: We are not a grief support group. Death Cafe's sole mission is to break the cultural taboo of death by encouraging participants to share stories, experiences, thoughts, etc.
This event is open to anyone 18 years or older.
Entry closes at 6:35 PM - NO EXCEPTIONS.
About Conner Harrington and Lynda Sorensen
Conner Harrington is a trained Death Cafe facillitator, hospice volunteer, and death educator. He is passionate about helping people of all walks of life have meaningful, enriching conversations about death and dying.
Lynda Sorensen is a trained Death Cafe facillitator, hospice volunteeer, death doula, and caregiver who participates in death education. Her warm heart and compassionate spirit enable her to be present to those in the final season of their life. She believes that no one should have to die alone.
