About this Death Cafe
We thank The Hundertwasser Art Centre with Wairau Maori Art Gallery in Whangarei for the opportunity to host death cafe's in the activity room of the centre. This is the venue we are holding death cafes in now, we very grateful to be able to use this space for death cafe's now and all future meetings. A big thank you.

Jo Moselen and Jo Samuel have been hosting death cafes in Whangarei for seven years. We are passionate about encouraging conversations about death.
Being funeral directors we see firsthand how having had conversations about death impacts positively on those experiencing the death of someone they are responsible for making decisions for.
