About this Death Cafe
I set up a sacred space in the center of the cafe and name tags and literature to look at is available. If you would like to support Crows Coffee plan to arrive 15 minutes early to put in a drink or food order before they close at 7pm.
About Kalista Schwartz
Hello. My name is Kalista and I facilitate Death Cafes. Since walking the death journey with my dog Molly, my relationship to death changed. It caused me to get more interested in this path of dying that we all will walk, crawl or be carried through at some point. I started attending death cafes near the passing of my dear grandmother, and shortly after her death, I started hosting myself. Since 2023 Crows Coffee in Waldo has graciously let me hold them after hours. I would be honored to have your voice at the table.
