About this Death Cafe
Join local death doula in Conference Room 2 at the Waukesha Public Library for a discussion of death over tea and snacks.
Death Cafés are an opportunity to demystify the death experience. We offer an open, safe environment for discussing thoughts and feelings about all manner of death and dying. We invite people in ALL phases of life to come talk about death and dying in a supportive, unstructured way.
Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives. Expect a group discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a place to talk and explore, rather than a grief support or counseling session. This Death Café is open to, and respectful of, people of all communities and belief systems.
This will be a confidential space. We ask all participants to refrain from giving advice, criticizing another's beliefs, or offering unsolicited feedback; no products or services will be promoted.
This event is free. Registration is not required.
