About this Death Cafe

There will be coffee & tea, and light refreshments, cakes, etc. We will meet for 2 hours, where we have basic introductions from those present, and then follow a free-form approach without agenda, where we will follow where the room's fancy takes us!

The Death Cafe is always free of charge, and we're excited to have this calm & welcoming location to discuss the topic. We welcome all with respect, honesty and curiosity.

About Alison, Josh & Maxine

Alison, Josh & Maxine each bring a particular fascination with the social and cultural aspects of death and dying. Having attended previous death cafes and found the conversations and thoughts both stimulating and illuminating, all 3 have decided to host their own cafe in Bristol's St Weburgh's community. They're dedicated to providing a safe, open environment for people to share their thoughts on death to help us all find an intimtate connection to the subject and our own humanity.
