About this Death Cafe
Join fellow mortals for a casual evening of sharing and listening about all things dying, death, and grief. Depending on the size of the group, we'll break off into smaller conversations or weave our wonderings as a whole. Weather permitting, the patio will be open. Heather lives to spark meaningful conversations about dying, death, and grief. Deeply engaged in thanatological explorations since 2016 and active with Community Deathcare Ottawa since 2019, she focuses on building relationships with local practitioners, connecting individuals and families with appropriate resources, and encouraging open dialogue around death preparation and family-led deathcare.
