About this Death Cafe
Death Café was founded by Jon Underwood and is based on the work of Bernard Crettaz. Today there are Death Cafés all over the world. Lizzy Miles was the first person to offer Death Café in the US.
Death Cafés are gatherings where people drink tea, eat cake, and openly, respectfully and confidentially exchange agenda-free perspectives and experiences with impermanence and death. The objective of Death Café is to “increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.”
Come sit in the grass and share what's on your mind about death and dying.
About Emilie Pascal
The café will be hosted by Emilie, who trained as a death doula and has been facilitating death cafes for the past year.
We very much look forward to gathering with you!
