About this Death Cafe
Join us for a special edition of Big D Roaming Death Cafe at Western Heights Cemetery. We’ll gather under a canopy of trees for open conversation about death and dying in this historic setting. All are welcome—whether you feel like sharing or simply listening.
After our discussion, stay for a tour led by Van Johnson, who will guide us through the cemetery’s rich history and share insights into its native, restored landscape and future conservation efforts. The tour will immediately follow the Death Cafe.
A big thank you to Western Heights for providing this inclusive gathering space.
Note: Parking is available on Neal Street (SE corner of the cemetery). Enter through the pedestrian gate.
FREE + OPEN TO ALL
(Stay tuned for a new location following this cafe!)
